At Awaken Westchester Church, we believe it’s important to be involved and to give back to our local community. We believe that a church should not solely exist for itself or for its members, but should be a community of people who are poured out for the healing and well-being of our local neighborhoods.
That’s why since our beginning, Awaken has partnered with various organizations around the White Plains area. Our partnerships have ranged from helping build houses with Habitat for Humanity, cooking meals for soup kitchens, hosting craft & game nights at the Coachman Inn family homeless shelter, and sorting clothes at the Sharing Shelf to distribute to underprivileged children & teens throughout Westchester County.
Service is an integral part of sharing the love and active compassion of Christ and at Awaken we want to be known for how we are an active force in blessing our neighbors.
We look forward to serving our home of Westchester County with you in the future!
